Iron (Fe) plays a major role in plant: without iron a plant can’t produce chlorophyll, can’t get oxygen and won’t be green. Iron helps to carry important elements through a plant’s circulatory system. Ferric oxide is a chemical present in soil, and plants can absorb iron from this chemical. Fe-Mobil is produced from an auxotrophic and acidophilic bacterium Acidothiobacillus ferrooxidans. Fe-Mobil releases Iron oxidase, which can biologically metabolize Iron and help the plants to uptake elemental ferrous. Inorganic molecules and carbon dioxide act as electron donor and ferric ions as electron acceptors.
