(b) Make two different symbolic design of Kolam by using different materials like colours, papers, etc. and write just one line of each work.

4. Answer any one of the following questions in about 100-150 word.

(a) Post Impressionist was both an extension of impressionism and a rejection of their limitations’. Justify the statement.
(b) ‘Bengal has a delightful folk tradition of embroidery and quilting known as Kantha’, justify on your own words.

5. Answer any one of the following questions in about 100-150 word.

(a)Name and explain the painting done by the most dedicated and spontaneous artist Claude Monet to capture the ever changing moods of nature.
(b) Write any one art work of Jain Miniature paintings and an appreciation note of that art work.

6. Prepare any one project of the following projects given below:

(a) Collect some real flowers and put them in your drawing paper. Draw the different steps of drawing and colouring these flowers in your drawing sheet and make a beautiful design of Kolam along with these flower drawings.
(b) Visit a nearby library and locate a book of modern art. You will find examples of artwork of famous painters like Claude Monet, Cezanne, Degas and others. After studying them, imagine such an abstract theme of a painting. Take an imperial size of paper and use lines and colours
on if, keeping in mind the importance of balance, rhythm, harmony and-texture of a picture. When the picture is completed, analyze the picture and give your view on it in fifty words.
