The Space

The guest house doesn't encourage unmarried couples from India.

The guesthouse is in the 5th floor of a 5 storey apartment in the banks of Brahmaputra river. There is a lift which will take the guests to the private entrance of the homestay.

With AC, a queen size bed, wall mounted TV, attached bathroom, complimentary breakfast & a shared kitchen, this budget room at OK North East Riverview Homestay is the cheapest place to stay with all of the amenities in entire Guwahati.

The guesthouse is in the banks of Brahmaputra river in Uzan Bazaar and about 1.5 kms from the railway station. Situated in a quiet & peaceful neighborhood, the homestay offers peace & tranquility at all times.

The guest house has a shared living room overlooking the Brahmaputra river with a balcony which guests can utilize. There's a kitchen with all amenities.

Guests can either book 1 room or the entire apartment. Upto 9 people can stay comfortably in the apartment.

Taxi (Uber, Ola etc), bus and autos are easily accessible from the guest house. Bus stand is 0.5 kms away.

There are many restaurants nearby and one can taste the vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian dishes. Pork momos are most popular. There are also places for breakfast nearby which are open from 7 AM. Please take help from the caretaker.

Please Note

The guest house is in a slow, quiet and residential neighborhood. Please maintain peace at all times.

The caretaker leaves for his home at night. If you need any help, please take it before 10 PM. Also, we don't encourage guests to send our caretaker to get alcohol or any other substances like cigarette.

There is no cooking facility in the kitchen. There's only heating facility in the kitchen. You can utilize the fridge, microwave and other amenities in the kitchen only if you're familiar with the electronic appliances.

If you break anything in the house, you pay for it. If you lose anything in the house including door key, you pay for it. If you mistakenly destroy any electronic stuff or appliances, you pay for it.

This is your home away from home. Please don't litter and keep the house neat and clean. There are garbage dispensers. Don't throw napkin or any garbage in the toilet. You clog the toilet, you have to pay for it, which comes to almost Rs 6000 in Assam.

We want your stay to be satisfactory, hence the rules. These rules keep the house in a manner where you'll find peace and happiness after you step inside.

Guest Access

A caretaker is present 24 hrs to help. Lunch and dinner are available for Rs 200 per person per meal. Guests will have access to the kitchen, 2 living rooms with TV and 2 balconies.

Other things to note

Guests will be provided with complimentary breakfast. A guest can also book the entire apartment with prior notice. Lunch and dinner are provided at the guesthouse for extra cost, although guests can bring their food from outside and utilise the fridge, electric heater and other amenities of the kitchen.
