Rest Of My Family is registered as a Charitable Trust in India. Donations to it are exempt from Income Tax under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act.

This campaign is raising funds towards second phase of development of KOFPO Company that is co-operatively owned and run by the farmers of Biate tribe.The Company is working towards uniting, organizing and training farmers to practice sustainable, profitable agriculture, run a company and market their products directly to the end customer.

Biate community is a largely ignored and obscure minority. They are an endangered community and there are only 15,000 - 20,000 Biate people in the world today. Most of the community resides on both sides of the Assam-Meghalaya border region with 17 villages in Assam and 25 on the Meghalaya side.
