Thank you for your interest in participating in Nel Thiruvizha 2017! All the registered delegates/farmers would receive a kit during the event containing the following items. / பதிவு செய்த அனைவருக்கும் கீழ்க்குறிப்பிட்டவை நிகழ்ச்சியின் போது வழங்கப்படும். 1) Paddy Seeds / விதை நெல் (2kg) All registered delegates will get 2kg of Paddy Seed varity of your choice from the total of 169 verities of traditional paddy available. Please enter the variety that you wish to receive. This has to be returned as 4kg in the next year's, 2018 Paddy Festival at Thiruthuraipoondi. பதிவு செய்த அனைவருக்கும் 2 கிலொ விதை நெல் வழங்கப்படும். மீட்டெடுத்த 169 வகையில் ஒன்றை தேர்ந்தெடுத்துக் கொள்ளலாம். இதை அடுத்த வருடம் நெல் திருவிழா-வில் 4 கிலொவாக திருப்பித்தருவது மரபு.

The first Rice Festival inaugurated by Dr. Nammalvar in 2006 became an annual event and had been organized successfully for the last 10 years. With the same spirit and commitment, we are happy to inform that the 11th National Rice Festival will be organized for the year 2017 on June 17-18 at Thiruthuraipoondi, ARV Dhanalakshmi Mahal.
