How to create an email campaign from your dashboard
1. Creating email campaigns individually
Follow these steps to create your first email campaign from your Instamojo dashboard.
Step 1: From the left panel, navigate to Marketing -> Campaigns -> SMS and email campaigns. You are now in the email campaigns window.
Step 2: Choose the email option and fill in the sender name. This is the name that will be visible in your customer’s inbox.
Step 3: Now add recipient email addresses. You can either add them manually by separating each with a comma or upload an excel file containing the email addresses.
Step 4: Add in a subject line and draft your email content. You can format the text using the available options — use headings and subheadings, change font and font colour, use bold or italics, embed videos or images.
Step 5: After reviewing your email, press the send button. The email will reach your customers’ inbox instantly.
2. Scheduling bulk emails
You can schedule multiple email campaigns from your Instamojo dashboard. Here’s the process you should follow:
Step 1: Navigate to Marketing -> Campaigns -> All campaigns.
Step 2: Click the ‘Add campaign’ button on your top right-hand side. Enter a name for your campaign.
Step 3: Manually add in email addresses of customers, separated by commas. Click Next when you’re ready.
Step 4: Add in an email subject line and write the content for your email campaign. Click Next once you’re done.
Step 5: You get the option to either send out the email instantly or schedule it for later.
Apart from the above two ways, you can send a quick email to customers individually. For this, navigate to Marketing -> Customers on your dashboard. You’ll find an arrow button icon. Click on it and a window will pop up where you can compose and send an email quickly without any formatting.

Recover abandoned carts
Cart abandonment refers to when a visitor on your online store adds items to their cart, but instead of completing the purchase, leaves. Studies have shown that running re-marketing campaigns can increase the chances of recovering abandoned carts.
If you have subscribed to the Growth plan of Instamojo store, an automated email will be sent to customers within thirty minutes of cart abandonment. Here’s how the automated email looks like:

You also have the option to send two more reminder emails manually, which you can do in your own time pace. For this, navigate to Online Store -> Orders -> Abandoned carts.
Create advanced email campaigns with MailChimp
You can create email campaigns with attractive email designs, create segmented email lists, and track email analytics by integrating directly with MailChimp. By subscribing to the MailChimp app on Instamojo, you can sync email ids and activity of customers and prospects directly into your MailChimp account.
You can enable this by visiting the Instamojo app store on your dashboard and click on Authorize to connect your Instamojo account to MailChimp.You can then start sending customer and prospect segments to MailChimp. These lists can be accessed through MailChimp and you can then start sending custom email campaigns to gain more conversions.
