{"id":13953,"date":"2020-07-13T20:15:33","date_gmt":"2020-07-13T14:45:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.instamojo.com\/blog\/?p=13953"},"modified":"2020-08-12T12:17:44","modified_gmt":"2020-08-12T06:47:44","slug":"top-features-of-the-atmanirbhar-bharat-abhiyan-scheme-that-benefits-your-business","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.instamojo.com\/blog\/top-features-of-the-atmanirbhar-bharat-abhiyan-scheme-that-benefits-your-business\/","title":{"rendered":"Top Features of the Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan Scheme that Benefits your Business"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\">The Government\u2019s Atmanirbhar Bharat<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>Abhiyan Scheme came into effect on May 12th, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the scheme to the nation to support MSMEs affected by the COVID pandemic.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan Scheme primarily carries a <strong>\u20b920 Lakh crore package<\/strong> which will be used to cover &#8211;<\/p>\n<ol class=\"ol1\">\n<li class=\"li1\">Economy<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Infrastructure<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">System<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Demography<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Demand<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2 class=\"p1\">Top Features of the Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan Scheme<\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\">Atmanirbhar, meaning self-reliant is moving towards making Indian MSMEs independent, through several credit schemes. In fact, just last week, <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instamojo.com\/blog\/world-banks-msme-emergency-response-program-affects-small-businesses\/?utm_source=imblog&amp;utm_medium=interlink&amp;utm_campaign=world_bank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The World Bank<\/a><\/span> pledged over $750 million to the scheme, to help MSME sectors gain liquidity.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"p1\">Collateral free loans for businesses<\/h3>\n<p class=\"p1\">The core of the Atmanirbhar Abhiyan scheme is providing collateral-free loans to the MSME sector.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>According to this, small businesses can borrow up to <strong>20% of their complete outstanding credit from approved banks.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">If the small business has up to \u20b925 crores outstanding or less than<i>\u00a0\u20b9<\/i>100 crore turnover, then they are eligible for such loans. The scheme is valid until October 31, 2020.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"p1\">Increase in borrowing limits<\/h3>\n<p class=\"p1\">State Governments will increase borrowing limits for the MSME sector from 3% to 5%. This will give the MSMEs in the state extra resources of \u20b9 4.28 lakh crore.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The move aims to boost the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p1\">\u2018One Nation One Ration card\u2019<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">Ease of Doing Business<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">Electricity distribution and boosting urban local bodies revenue generation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"p1\">Credit boost to farmers<\/h3>\n<p class=\"p1\">The Agriculture sector is perhaps the worst hit after the logistics sector. To help out, the Atmanibhar scheme has issued an agriculture package of\u00a0<strong>\u20b9\u00a01.63 lakh crore<\/strong>, which includes direct farm produce access and fisheries, animal husbandries, and micro food enterprises.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>Over 2.5 crore farmers stand to benefit from this scheme too.
