Serious question. What\u2019s fun about being sober?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

NOTHING!<\/em><\/strong><\/h4>\n

It\u2019s called the \u201cart of beer-ing\u201d for a reason!<\/p>\n

This art was developed more than 6,000 years ago, presumably. The first ever written evidence of beer was found in the ancient civilization of Sumeria. There was a goddess of beer and people wrote hymns for her:<\/p>\n

Ninkasi, you are the one who pours out the filtered beer of the collector vat
\nIt is [like] the onrush of Tigris and Euphrates.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Beer was apparently considered a gift from the Gods!<\/p>\n

Since then, we have brewed umpteen number of varieties, experimenting with the wackiest flavors (Voodoo Doughnut Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Ale and elephant-digested beer among others).<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s not even get into the nomenclature. Beer is now synonymous with urbanization.<\/p>\n

A recent survey showed more Indians were switching to drinking beer and dropping the hard liquor habits. (So long Old Monk!)<\/p>\n

While India is a great fan of bottled beer, craft beer holds a special place in every desi millennial\u2019s heart.<\/p>\n

We spoke to three kickass breweries in a rapid-fire round & dang, did we get a little boozy or what:<\/p>\n
