Initiate Refunds to your customers<\/strong><\/h2>\nOften, you may need to refund a payment to your customer due to reasons such as customer dissatisfaction, redundant\u00a0payment, etc.<\/p>\n
Luckily, initiating a refund has now become easier. Simply navigate to the\u00a0Sales & Customers<\/a> page on your Dashboard<\/strong> and expand the detailed view of the transaction that you wish to refund.<\/p>\nClick on the Request Refund<\/strong> button and walk through the instructions. Inform the Instamojo operations team of details such as the reason for the refund, the customer’s identity, etc.<\/p>\n![\"refund](\"https:\/\/www.instamojo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/refunds.png\")
<\/a><\/p>\nOur operations team will issue a refund to the customer’s bank account upon receiving the request. A confirmation\u00a0email will be sent\u00a0to both, you and your customer.<\/p>\n
Note-<\/strong> In cases where a\u00a0refund has been requested due to accidental duplicate payments or any other reason that can be attributed to an error in Instamojo’s systems, no transaction fees shall be deducted from the merchants.<\/p>\nFor\u00a0reasons such as unavailability of product\/service, product lost\/damaged, the customer is dissatisfied with product\/service, the transaction charge for the refunded payment shall be debited\u00a0from the merchant from future payouts.<\/p>\n
Export Payouts to a CSV file and<\/strong>\u00a0view transactions<\/strong><\/h2>\nWe have added another layer of transparency to\u00a0your Payout settlement report. It is located in the Payouts<\/a> section of your Instamojo Dashboard.<\/p>\nYou can also reconcile your Payout settlement reports with your accounting systems. All you need to do is export a list of settlements as a CSV file. For this purpose, just click on the ‘Export All Payouts<\/strong>‘ button.<\/p>\nTo learn which transactions were included in a particular payout to the registered\u00a0bank account, follow these steps:<\/p>\n
In your Instamojo profile, click on the ‘Export Transactions<\/strong>‘ button located inside the detail view of each payout.
