Donation

Humane Animal Society (HAS) depends on donations for the general functioning and upkeep of the facilities. Running HAS costs approximately INR 7 Lakh (USD 10,000) per month. As HAS is registered under the Indian Trust Act, and granted certification as a charity organization under section 12A(a) of the Income Tax Act, 1961, all donations are tax exempted under section 80G of the Income Tax Act, which means that all donations are utilised fully to the benefit of animals.

Payments on the Instamojo platform can only be made with Indian payment facilities. If you want to donate using a non-Indian payment facility, please make the payment via Paypal to our USA based registered charity, Citizens for Animals, or check for additional ways to donate on our website.
