Street Photography with Natan Dvir
Photographing on the street is a demanding yet rewarding challenge, which requires observation, fast reaction, creativity, and sensitivity to various human situations. In this workshop internationally exhibited award winning street photographer and educator Natan Dvir will guide students to understand technical consideration and preferred camera settings, explore approaches to photographing strangers, identify photographic opportunities, and capture candid moments in a constantly changing environment. Take advantage of hands-on guidance while photographing various assignments and receiving personal feedback based on 15 years of photographic experience. Students are required to bring whichever equipment they would like to photograph with including their widest lens.
About the presenter
Natan Dvir is a New York based Israeli photographer who focuses on the human aspects of political, social and cultural issues. He received his MFA in Photography from the School of Visual Arts (NY), after which he became an adjunct faculty member at the ICP. Based in New York, he photographs around the world and is represented by Polaris Images agency and Anastasia Photo gallery. Natan’s main projects were exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in the United States, Europe, South America, Asia, and Australia. His work has been published by numerous international magazines and has received recognition winning prizes around the world.
