When Kaviyogi was serving as Deputy Collector at Kovilpatti from 1974-1976 the trustees of Sri Shenbaga Valli Amman requested Kaviyogi to sing an anthari on the Amman. Kaviyogi also agreed provided he gets an order from the Goddess. The expected order did not come for a very long time but on one full moon day the divine order came from the Goddess. Kaviyogi went to the temple and sang impromptu this Anthari at a single sitting. It was recorded in the tape and then re-written. It was published by the temple administrative committee in a function. It was funded by Mr. Rajendran, classmate of Kaviyogi in his college years.
