License Plate Recognition GUI

Environment

• I used Python 3.6.8, Download from here https://www.python.org/ftp/python/3.6.8/python-3.6.8-amd64.exe
• Then open CMD in this directory, write pip install -r requirements.txt
• Install tesseract-ocr-w64-setup-v5.0.0-alpha.20200328.exe into your system.
• Installation Completed.

Folder hierarchy

• meta contains images for the GUI.
• results contains the folders of the generated results from GUI
• test_images have 45 number of the testing images of vehicle, on that image you can do the testing of code.
• ALPR_Info.py is the main GUI file which you need to run.
• yt_testing.py is the code which I have shown in the youtube tutorial.

How to run?

• open CMD into work directory, use python ALPR_Info.py
• In GUI, upload Image, click on detect, it will do License Plate Recognition and it will generate owner dummy data.

• This project is working fine on Indian Cars Images, still I am not responsible for 100% accuracy with any car image which you have downloaded from the internet. I have given the test images on that it is running fine.
