




The workshop is especially designed for beginners who want to learn and explore this beautiful script- Copperplate with me.
Its a three day long workshop, three hour session each day, you dont need any prior experience or knowledge of calligraphy to join us and learn copperplate calligraphy.

5pm to 8pm
-all three days-
The following topics will be covered in the workshop-
1. Posture, position and placement while writing
2. Warm up: Why is it important and correct way to do it
3. How to hold the oblique holder
4. Discussion about tools (preparation of nib, ink, etc)
5. Basic strokes
6. Lower case letters
7. Upper case letters - each lower case/upper case letter will he discussed in detail
8. Word Formation
10. Introduction to Flourishes
11. Numbers
12. Discussion about tools that simplify practicing
13. Assignment review for each workshop participant
There will be assignment at the end of each day of the session, which will be reviewed. Learning from our mistakes is important for growth, and reviewing assignment helps in the same.
The batch size is kept extremely small, so that the entire group can work together and I can review your work in the session itself as well.
Class recording will be provided to you, that you can access for 28 days after the workshop.
You’ll be provided with a printable pdf worksheet if you go for the without calligraphy kit version of the workshop

Materials required:
1- Nib- Nikko g or principal ef,
If you want to other nibs like Zebra g, that’s perfectly fine as well. Incase you’re confused about the nibs, feel free to drop an email to or a DM on Instagram
2- Holder, preferably oblique holder
3- Paper, 100 gsm preferably
4- Ink
5- Pencil
About assignment discussion:
All the assignments are supposed to be shared via email, after that each participant is given two options
1- Join in the 4:30-5pm slot for the discussion
2- If 4:30-5 is not suitable the corrected and reviewed assignments will be emailed back to them
