Instamojo is an incredibly simple payment system that lets you sell your digital creations directly to your customers by just sharing a link. With Instamojo, you can sell all your digital files like reports, code, documents, photos, templates, tutorials, music, videos etc by simply sharing a link.

Here's our frequently asked questions (FAQs):

0. Is Instamojo a marketplace?

Ans: No. Instamojo is not a marketplace. Instamojo's goal is to help you sell your work directly to your audience by simply sharing a link with them.

To help you sell to your audience, we provide you an out-of-the-box e-commerce framework that takes care of mundane stuff from payments to delivery. We also provide you tools to reach out to your own audience in whatever way you choose, so that you've more time creating stuff.

1. What is Instamojo's pricing or fees?

Ans: We believe in simple & honest pricing practices. We charge you 5% + 30¢ for every successful transaction. That's it. That means, there are no other charges or fees for setup, hosting, bandwidth, delivery of your digital files, payment processing etc.

Example of Instamojo pricing: If you sell anything for $10, we pay you back $9.2.

Sidenote: For Indian sellers, pricing is at flat 5% per successful transaction.

2. Using Instamojo, what can I do?

Ans: With Instamojo, you can sell your digital files as instant downloads, sell tickets and much more by simply sharing a link to your customer(s) or within your network of friends, fans and followers (example, you can sell your software, music, video, photos, podcasts, event tickets, online courses, web & mobile apps, e-books, e-magazine, etc).

3. Where do I start ?

Ans: Just register and proceed towards your dashboard where you can add details like price, quantity etc and start selling instantly.

4. What happens once I've added details to an offer?

Ans: Once you've added details to your offer, just put a price-tag and share the unique link that Instamojo gives you for every upload. That's it. You're now ready to accept payments from customers. We'll handle hosting of your checkout page, security, payment processing and delivery.

For every successful transaction, you'll instantly get a notification from us.

5. When do I get paid?

Ans: The payout happens on 2nd and 4th Friday of each month. All sales prior to 1st Friday will be paid on 2nd Friday, and all sales prior to 3rd Friday will be paid on 4th Friday. For offers selling in INR, the amount would be remitted to your Indian bank account if it has crossed minimum payment threshold of ₹500. For offers selling in USD, the amount would be remitted to your US bank account if it has crossed the minimum payment threshold of $10. If the amount hasn't crossed the minimum threshold, it will be carried over to the next payment cycle.

6. If I purchase a file, how do I get it?

Ans: You'll immediately get a download link of the file you purchased. The download link will be forwarded to your email id too.

7. What is the minimum sale price?

Ans: The minimum price of each offer should be USD 0.50, or INR 9. However, you can give-away your creations for free.

8. Is Instamojo available in my country?

Ans: Instamojo can be used by sellers in USA or India.

9. Can I host my own files?

Ans: No. Since we process payments for digital downloads, we need to be able to guarantee that the file is available when a buyer makes a payment for your file. We can only do this if the file is hosted on our servers.
