Some glimpses from my trip to Bhuj and surrounding villages… It was a very informative trip w.r.t. the details of the process involved in making handloom sarees, the hardwork the weavers put in and the problems they face, especially in branding and marketing their products…Good to see that many NGOs are working in the field of children education and healthcare for the weaver villages…Special thanks to Musa bhai from Ajrakhpur, Suresh Vankar ji ( @vankar3951 )and his family (especially Krishna,his sister and an amazing and upcoming weaver) from Sarli and @vishkudecha from Bhujodi. They took out the time to explain their "Kala" in detail .
