#1 – What is the story behind your products?
Deepak Kanakaraju: We sell study materials online for a particular exam related to joining the Indian armed forces. It was a very difficult task for us to collect online payments. We contacted some big-name Indian payment gateways and they were asking for big setup fees and the charge per transaction was also high.
We finally resorted to sending physical shipments of the educational materials via cash on a delivery model which was cumbersome and there were a lot of missed shipments and bounce backs.
